Alaskan Winter Refuge (220 Opera Drive)

The Alaskan Winter Refuge is occupied from mid November to mid April by the owners, wo live - you guessed it - in Alaska. The Refuge is like many homes in Historic Bisbee built into the mountain. What looks like a ground floor is actually a very small storage area. Going up a few steps you'll  come via a small side patio into the living room. The living room, dining room with its own small sitting area, kitchen, and laundry area are an open floor plan. The bedrooms and bathrooms are private. One bathroom is a full bath with regular tub and shower, the second bathroom has a large shower. The Refuge has evaporative cooling for our hot and dry summer days. There is a TV with cable reception in the living room. Guests who are staying several weeks or months and need internet access, can easily make arrangements with the cable company. Rent per month is $950 (icludes TV cable but not internet) for one couple with an increase for additional renters.
