OK Street Jailhouse (9 Ok Street)

Description: This two story 1200 s/f structure was an active jail between 1907 and 1914, until it ran out of room for the clientele taking advantage of a booming mining town. A small entry area on the first floor once was the jailer's office. The former drunk tank is now a living room/kitchen com-bination. There is 1/2 bath downstairs. On the second floor, in the former cell for serious offenders, is now the bedroom and bath with Jacuzzi tub for two. A/C is upstairs. Staying at the Jail you must rely on public parking. Rent for a couple is $115 for one night, $85 each additional night, $600 per week. Please call for monthly rates.  Additional inmates can comfortable sleep on an Aerobed and will be an additional $10 per person, per stay.
